GROOMING SHUT DOWN!
Warm weather and heavy rain have destroyed our trail system with bare sections, standing and flowing water and very icy conditions now. Grooming operations have stopped with 75% of what little snow we had disappearing over the last 48 hours. Some of the trail base is holding across most of Trail 8 from Shingleton West, Trail 7 North, parts of Trail 417 and 418 but all with sections of standing water, ice and bare sections. As temperatures drop back down they are expected to become completely ice. Trail 418 has high flowing water just east of AuTrain. Conditions will be very hard on the sleds if you choose to go out there. There are a few weeks left of the season so if choosing to do so ride safe!
Past 24 hour Grooming Operations: ON HOLD
Forecast: Rain, 48º F and dropping, Winds S becoming W 25 to 30 mph, Gusts to 45 mph
Currently: Rain, 48º F, Winds S 15 mph, Gusts to 32 mph
