GREAT TRAILS – WARNING TRAIL 418 CLOSED!
  Overall trail conditions groomed out very good to Tuesday night. Monday we saw a steady rain fall which made the grooming results a little less than ideal but still very good. We do have one area of Trail 418 that is flooded with flowing water, deep slush and un-groomable at this time. This is just East of AuTrain, heading east from Scott Falls for about two miles. Trail 418 is officially closed per the DNR from the bridge in AuTrain heading east to Trail 7.
DETOUR: Detour from East is taking Trail 7 South to Trail 8 West to Trail 417. West Detour is reverse taking 417 from the Brownstone Intersection.

Past 24 hour Grooming operations:
Trails 8 East to 7 miles north of Shingleton and 8 West, 7 North and South to Buckhorn Road, Trail 419 East and West, Trail 417, Trail 418 from 417 East to AuTrain, Trail 422 and Wetmore Spur.

Today’s Forecast: Snow Showers and Freezing Drizzle, 11 degrees and East wind at 5 mph. Up to a inch of snow accumulation.

WARNING - TRAIL 418 EAST OF AU TRAIN IS CLOSED

- Monday's rain has water crossing and running down Trail 418 approximately 2 miles East of Au Train. This has created slushy and deep water areas for a long section of the trail along with a hole across the trail. Reports have sleds getting stuck and riders that are making it through are getting wet. Again - avoid using Trail 418 East of Au Train until further notice. DETOUR: From East is taking Trail 7 South to Trail 8 West to Trail 417. West Detour is reverse taking 417 from the Brownstone Intersection.

1 Mile West of the Doty Bridge a large depression and bump keeps appearing as the day progresses - RIDE WITH CAUTION!

8 West - Chatham

Very Good

3 to 4 inches of fresh snow, groomed and set well Tuesday night.

7 South - CR440

Very Good

3 to 4 inches of fresh snow, groomed to Buckhorn Road and set well Tuesday night.

7 North - Christmas

Very Good

3 to 4 inches of fresh snow, groomed and set well Tuesday night.

419 East - Wetmore

Very Good

3 to 4 inches of fresh snow, groomed multiple times daily. High traffic trail section so may get rough between grooming runs.

419 West - Munising

Very Good

3 to 4 inches of fresh snow, groomed and set well Tuesday night.

418 - Au Train

Good

3 to 4 inches of fresh snow, groomed and set well from Trail 417 at Brownstone Junction East to Au Train Tuesday night. Remainder of trail closed.
