TRAILS ARE SLOWLY COMING TOGETHER!
Winter Storm coming through but possibly bringing some rain along. Trails are in overall Fair condition so lets hope for a good amount of snow from this to keep them moving in the right direction and bump them up a notch. Trail 8 East was groomed last night from Wetmore to 7 miles North of Shingleton. We were able to get the base flattened out fairly well considering the rocky conditions and limited snow to work with but please make note of cautions listed in report below. Operations will continue with grooming and prepping of trails around the weather conditions.
The core of our system from Trail 8/ M-94 in Shingleton to Trail 7 / Buckhorn and North, Trail 7 to Christmas, and most of Trail 419W from Munising to Christmas is still in Fair Condition. Beyond that overall riding conditions are poor with some thin, icy, rocky and wet areas. You may see the start of slight moguling with the limited grooming at this time.
Today’s Forecast: Rain/Snow, 37 degrees and 10 to 20 mph SE winds. Up to an inch of snow.
If you must venture out please ride with caution and conservatively and PLEASE be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends and stay tuned for updates!
