Day two and weather is teasing us!
Not much change for the better. Again overall the ground is covered but riding right now would be hard on your machines. A few dedicated, opening-day riders have been seen on our trails yesterday. We have started trying to pack and freeze in wet areas but No grooming yet. Work continues today on Trail 422. Warm with rain/snow mix right now. Today’s forecast is 1 to 3 inches of snow across our area with 25 to 35 mph winds and dropping temperatures. We will continue to do what we can to get the trails prepared hoping the wet areas will start to harden up. Continue to do your snow dances and stay tuned for updates!
- The ground is just starting to freeze and wet areas are not frozen solid yet. Ride with caution.
