Very Heavy Sled Traffic!
Trails are holding very flat considering the traffic. Last night trails were grooming out great and set well with the bitter cold keeping the night time riders in. The 7 mile section of Trail 8, North of Shingleton groomed out nice but is narrower so it will get rough between grooming runs. From what we see for riders heading out, this will probably be true across the trail system. Volunteer Operators will be out there running two shifts in both machines, doing their best to keep trails as flat as possible.
STAY ON THE TRAIL IN TOWNS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shingleton is really having an issue with extremely disrespectful riders not following the trail. Not only are “No Snowmobile” signs being ridden past, riders have knocked down and ridden over snow fence used to stop the trespassing. As a result the property owner has damage to building materials stored on the property. STAY ON THE TRAIL!
Today’s Forecast: Snow Showers, 14 degrees and 5 mph S wind. 1 Inch of snow forecast.
PLEASE ride with caution, stay right and be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends and stay tuned for updates!
