NEW SNOW WITH NEAR PERFECT TRAILS!
Overall trail conditions are good to very good with an average of 4 plus inches of fresh snow, heavier in areas. Trails are grooming out the best they have all season. We still have a very good base overall with great late season riding conditions. Near the towns we have some thin snow on trails running along the roadways though the Wetmore Spur along M-28 is very good. Most of Trail 419 between Munising and Wetmore is un-groomable with icy corners and hill tops. Check Fuel and Food stops before heading out. Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe!

FUEL STOPS
- If riding long distance check on fuel availability due to Restaurants being closed and many of them Fuel stops. Currently the Tanglewood Inn in Shingleton and the Buckhorn Resort have fuel available.

Very Good
4 to 6 inches of fresh snow, flat with a good base, groomed Friday night.
8 West - Chatham
Good
4 to 6 inches of fresh snow, flat with a good base, groomed Friday night.
7 South - CR440
Good
4 to 6 inches of fresh snow, flat with a good base, groomed to 7 miles south of Buckhorn Road Friday night.
7 North - Christmas
Very Good
4 to 6 inches of fresh snow, flat with a good base, groomed Friday night. Trail is thinner with some bare spots for two miles from Christmas.
419 East - Wetmore
Good
4 to 6 inches of fresh snow, flat with a good base, groomed from Trail 8 into Wetmore Friday night.
Grooming Closed between Wetmore and Munising due to ice at top of hill not allowing groomers to climb, rideable, just slow down and watch trail conditions.
419 West - Munising
Good
4 to 6 inches of fresh snow, fairly flat with a good base. Groomed Friday night from Christmas to and including the West bay Spur. From West Bay Spur intersection to Munising it's fairly flat with moguls on inside corners. Slow down and stay alert in that area. Thin and icy close to Munising.

8 North - Shingleton
Good
fresh snow, flat with a good base, a few thin areas and corners, 4 to 6 inches of grooming Wednesday night. There is bare road travel in sections of the Shingleton RR Track / M-28 crossing area.
Grooming stopped north of Shingleton due to snow/ice conditions on the third bridge north. This is creating unsafe groomer crossing conditions.
