We did groom 417 between Chatam and the 418 junction up by the Brownstone. It was super slow going.
Its definitely not perfect but it is mostly flat. You will feel the rocks on your skis in areas but there is some good snow.
Trail 418 in to AuTrain is flat with a goat trail down the middle from sleds. Try to ride the sides too and pack them in.
We did not groom it. It is still flat with some decent snow on it. It ridable. You will hear some gravel on the carbides.
When we got to the trail 8 417 junction going to Chatam, we ran in to the TNT groomer. Dennis told us is is groomed out to the Rumley store.
Further West it is lacking snow.
Stop in at our business supporters in this neck of the woods. The Chatam Village Pub and the Brownstone.
