We have a real good start to the season.

Early Season Conditions. There is going to be water and mud in areas.

See detailed report for specifics. Over the next couple of days we plan to get all of our trails cut in.

Trail 419 in Munising is going to need some time to freeze up.

Trail 8 North if Shingleton is also going to need some time to freeze up.

Water Hazards

- Trail 419 (Frog Hollow) Mud Holes Trail 8 North of Shingleton. Swamp and several water holes.

Trail Conditions

8 East - Shingleton

Good

Groomed last night from Shingleton to FFH13 - Turned out real nice. Snow was not binding up very well. It had plenty of time to set up.

8 West - Chatham

Fair to Good

Last night this trail did see some fresh snow. We should be in good shape to get this groomed in the next day.

7 South - CR440

Fair to Good

Last night this area saw some lake effect snow. We should be able to get this groomed in the next day.

7 North - Christmas

Fair to Good

Good amounts of snow in XMAS. We should be getting the groomer over there this evening.

419 East - Wetmore

Good

Groomed last night and turned out real nice.

419 West - Munising

Fair

Frog Hollow swamp hole. No grooming of this trail until we get this area to freeze up.

418 - Au Train

Fair

418 from Brownstone to Autrain. Not groomed yet.

417 - Brownstone Jnct.

Fair

not groomed yet - should be in the next couple of days.

422 - Miners Castle

Very Rough

Trail Closed per Alger County Road Commission.

Wetmore Spur

Fair to Good

plenty of snow - looking to get this groomed this evening.

8 North - Shingleton

Poor

Swamp - Water Holes - Use H15 spur just north of Shingleton. This trail was groomed last night.
