A WET PAUSE TO THE RIDING SEASON
Prior to the warm and wet weather overall trail conditions were excellent. We will have to wait and see happens over the next few days. The entire trail system was groomed just before this weather change. Grooming Operations are now on hold and expected to resume on Friday night. We have an excellent base with plenty of snow so it is expected to be recoverable. The best thing for trail preservation would be no snowmobile traffic during the warm rainy weather Wednesday and Thursday.
One area being watched closely is Trail 418 where we had an early season closure due to the trail turning into a deep slushy river. Soft snow and pockets of standing water are expected to develop – Stay Tuned!
Past 24 hour Grooming Operations:
Trail 422 to Miners Castle – Operations are now on hold
