Great Grooming Results!
No fresh snow but overall trail conditions are very good to excellent. Operators are reporting perfect grooming results with traffic starting to increase. The entire system was groomed in the last 24 hours with exception of Trail 7 south of Buckhorn Road. Last night Operator Kris was disappointed with his Pisten Bully grooming run being cut short due to a serious coolant leak. He said trails were grooming out with a perfect, rock hard ribbon. Kris, Keith and Sean pulled it apart so it should be back on the trails this morning.
Thanks to Operator Dave for his extra long day yesterday. He was grooming Trails 422 and Trail 8 East when we requested he assist our Seney neighbors and pull their New Holland back onto Trail 8 with the new John Deere. Deep drifting snow has been eating machines all around us lately, Please pull over for groomers whenever possible. The snow is very deep and some groomers are sliding off that hard base when trying to let sleds pass.
Tom and Quest almost have the old John Deere 7130R back up and running, more Soucey track issues were found from the breaking bolt but at least it’s moveable right now. Today both our primary machines will be out grooming trails full force – Enjoy!
Past 24 hour Grooming operations:
Trails 8 East to 7 miles north of Shingleton and 8 West, 7 North to Christmas and south to Buckhorn, Trail 417 to Brownstone Intersection, Trail 418, Trail 419 East and West, Trail 422 and Wetmore Spur.
Today’s Forecast: Partly Sunny, 32 degrees and 10 mph South wind.

PLEASE ride with caution, stay right and be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends and stay tuned for updates
- Machines are often running two shifts so please be alert and watch for groomers day and night. Please SLOW-DOWN on the corners, especially those long sweeping ones.
