TRAILS GROOMING OUT EXCELLENT!
Overall trail conditions are very good with some in excellent condition. Bitter cold temperatures had groomed trails setting quickly last night. It is -9 degrees right now so be sure you are dressed properly and have friend riding with you.
Past 24 hour Grooming runs:

Operator Daryl ran the Deere grooming Trail 8 West and Trail 7 North into Christmas and back yesterday. Last night Operator Quest ran the Deere grooming Trail 8 West to 7 South and Buckhorn Road, then Trail 8 East to 7 miles North of Shingleton and back. Operator keith groomed with the Bully our Trail 419 West to Trail 7 North, 418, 417, Trail 8 West and back on Trail 7 and 419 West. Interesting wildlife encounter I (Operator Keith) had last night. I had a Grouse quickly fly down right in front of me on the Trail 419 West Holiday Inn Spur. Stopped, then slowly pulled up very close to and it would not move. Honked the horn, shook the blade inches from it. Little bugger would not move until I opened the door to get out in the bitter cold. ( a few snapshots when it first landed in the photos below)
Today’s Forecast: Winter Storm Warning tonight and Sunday. heavy Lake-Effect Snow, 7 degrees and 15 to 20 mph Southwest wind shifting to Northwest. 1 to 3 inches accumulation tonight. Wind Chill -20 degrees tonight.
